KENYA
From seeing the wildebeest mega-herds in the Masai Mara and Amboseli’s legendary elephant herds against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro to cultural encounters in Samburu, a Kenya safari will not disappoint.
BIRTHPLACE OF SAFARI TRAVEL
Experience nature up close, while staying at exceptional camps that are perfectly located for observing game.
On this exciting “Gourmet Kosher Safari” itinerary, we blend this ‘bucket-list’ experience with two other gems of nature, a weekend on the stunning tropical coast of Kenya, and an optional add-on visit to Mount Kenya and its iconic wildlife conservancies.
Welcome to Kenya!
Our team will ensure a seamless transition from the airport to your top-tier hotel for check-in, a light lunch and some time to relax and refresh at the hotel facilities.
Towards the evening, a gourmet dinner will be served with time to recharge for the excitement ahead. Tomorrow marks the kick-off of our adventure. Rest easy and get ready to explore the wonders awaiting you in Kenya!
Today, we embark on the most enchanting leg of your Kenya adventure as we fly from Nairobi into the iconic Masai Mara. Here, the spectacle of the migration herds and their vigilant predators unfolds against the backdrop of breathtaking landscapes.
Immerse in the magic of this peak migration season, where the Mara comes alive with an abundance of wildlife. Brace yourself for the possibility of witnessing legendary river crossings, a testament to the resilience of these magnificent creatures facing the crocodile-infested waters of the Mara or Sand River.
However, the wonders don't end there. The Masai Mara boasts one of the planet's highest concentrations of resident wildlife. From antelopes, gazelles, and zebras to the famed "pumba" (warthog), cheetahs, leopards, lions, elephants, buffaloes, and graceful giraffes – each day promises an exhilarating search for these extraordinary creatures.
Join us in savoring the magic of Masai Mara's diverse wildlife over the next few days. Our expert guides are dedicated to ensuring you witness the beauty and drama of nature in its purest form.
On Friday morning, we will visit a very different part of Kenya. Ranked one of the world’s most magnificent beach areas, the endless tropical white sands from Malindi to the North of Mombasa and Diani Beach to its south, are reason enough for a trip here. When we add to that one of the world’s great marine reserves, with its world-class snorkeling and diving opportunities, the Kenya Coast joins the list of must-visits on a Kenya itinerary.
In addition to the ocean, and the opportunity to ride an African camel on the beach, the nearby creeks are great spots for smooth-water excursions by local canoes, and the reptile park is a great place to meet a python or hold a baby crocodile.
For a relaxed Shabbos setting, not much beats staying at one of the gorgeous beach-front lodges or villas in the area?
Choose your own path of discovery! Wrap up your tour in the relaxing Diani Beach or soar to new heights with an extra three days exploring the grandeur of Mount Kenya and the wildlife wonders of Ol Pejeta. Revel in Mount Kenya's serene landscapes and unique conservation initiatives at Ol Pejeta. Your adventure, your decision!
Each region on our itinerary is unique, and Kenya north of Nairobi is famous for the iconic Mount Kenya, the country’s highest peak and Africa’s second highest, as well as the private conservancies along the high plateaus bordering the mountain, including the magnificent “Ol Pajeta,” one of the last strongholds of the highly endangered rhino.
On Wednesday, we drive West to the unique “Ol-Pajeta” conservancy where we enjoy a full day of safaris in search of the Big-5 and many other species, with special focus on the endangered rhino, as well as an unforgettable visit to the protected enclosure where the last 2 surviving Northern white-rhinos are kept!
After flying back to Nairobi, we’ll hop on a 4-hour relaxed drive (or optional flight) to the magnificent “Mount Kenya Safari Club” where we check-in and spend what’s left of the afternoon enjoying the magnificent mountain scenery of the estate and adjoining reserve.
Thank you for embarking on this tour with us; may your memories be as lasting as the beauty we've witnessed together. Safe travels back home!
As our incredible journey concludes on Wednesday night, we drive (fly option is also available), bidding farewell to the memories etched in the heart of Kenya's wilderness.
