In this first-of-its-kind Gourmet Kosher Celtic journey, we go beyond the surface: wandering ancient streets, meeting local artisans, and savoring flavors that reflect centuries of culinary tradition.

 

This is not merely a tour, but an immersion into lands where history, culture, and natural splendor converge, leaving each traveler with moments of reflection, awe, and lasting inspiration.

    Welcome to the United Kingdom!

     

    Our tour begins in the city of Manchester learning about the Jewish community, visiting the Manchester Jewish Museum. We enjoy lunch at one of the local restaurants before heading east toward Liverpool.

     

    We embark on a Beatles-themed tour, visiting legendary sites such as the Cavern Club, Penny Lane, and Strawberry Fields, immersing ourselves in the stories and energy of the world’s most iconic band. We also visit the famous Anfield football stadium, how to the Liverpool football club.

    Afterwards we head to Chester City, home to a famous 2nd-century Roman Amphitheatre as well as boasting about its renowned preserved medieval architecture buildings. We check into our accommodation and enjoy a gourmet dinner after a successful first day.

  • We begin the day in the charming seaside town of Llandudno. Upon arrival, we take a leisurely walk along the Victorian promenade, where elegant architecture meets the sparkling waters of the Irish Sea. The fresh ocean breeze and wide-open views provide the perfect start to our day.

    Next, we ride the historic Great Orme Tramway to the summit, where panoramic vistas stretch from the rolling mountains of Snowdonia to the glistening coastline below. The summit offers breathtaking photo opportunities and a moment to fully appreciate the beauty of North Wales.

    After descending, we visit Conwy Castle, one of Wales most iconic medieval fortresses. We can wander the castle walls, explore its towers, and enjoy the charm of the surrounding walled town, with cobbled streets, artisan shops, and riverside views that capture the essence of Welsh history and culture.

    In the afternoon we explore the island of Anglesey, a 200km stretch of coastline renowned for its unique natural sites and historic castles, in particular the Beaumaris Castle, a 13th century UNESCO World Heritage site as well as walking over the Menai Bridge, the famous suspension gateway bridge to the island.

    After breakfast, we begin our journey into the heart of Snowdonia, surrounded by soaring mountains and lush valleys. Our morning takes us to Swallow Falls, Wales tallest waterfall, where the River Llugwy cascades dramatically into a deep, rugged gorge.

    The wooded paths alongside the falls offer enchanting glimpses of the rushing water, framed by moss-covered rocks and towering trees, creating countless moments to pause, breathe in the crisp mountain air, and capture the natural beauty on camera.

    Next, we head to Betws-y-Coed, a picturesque village nestled among forests and rivers. The village itself invites a leisurely stroll along cobbled streets, browsing local artisan shops, or enjoying a coffee or snack at one of the charming cafes.

    For those seeking a bit more excitement, there are optional activities nearby, including zip-lining through the treetops, river rafting along the fast-flowing waters, mountain biking on scenic trails, or even gorge walking and rock climbing for a thrilling encounter with the surrounding landscape. This allows everyone to tailor their experience, whether they prefer a relaxed pace or a dose of adventure in the heart of Snowdonia.

    From Betws-y-Coed, we take a scenic drive through Snowdonia, passing rolling hills, tranquil lakes, and rugged mountains. Along the way, we stop at Llyn Idwal, a beautiful glacial lake nestled in the mountains, where we can enjoy a short hike or simply take in the serene alpine scenery.

    In the afternoon, we visit Dolwyddelan Castle, a striking medieval fortress perched on a hillside, offering panoramic views of the surrounding valleys. Guests can explore the castle ruins and imagine the history of this strategic stronghold.

  • After breakfast, we set off to the Gower Peninsula, the first designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Enjoying the scenic drive through Wales, we witness the countryside in its raw form.

     

    Our adventure begins at Worm’s Head, a striking headland with panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean that are truly unforgettable. We move on to Rhossili Bay, a breathtaking stretch of golden sand embraced by dramatic cliffs and rolling hills.

    Continuing our journey, we arrive at Three Cliffs Bay, a cove where limestone cliffs meet a tranquil river estuary—a perfect spot to soak in the scenery and capture breathtaking photos. By midday, we travel east to Swansea for a leisurely lunch, enjoying the lively waterfront atmosphere and the flavors of the region.

    In the afternoon, we continue to Bristol where we will enjoy a meal at the local Chabad and check in to our accommodation for the night.

    This morning we rise early and head to the airport for our flight to Scotland.

    Welcome to Edinburgh, Scotland’s enchanting capital. Known for its historic castle perched on a volcanic rock, elegant Georgian and medieval architecture, and vibrant cultural scene, Edinburgh offers a perfect blend of history, charm, and modern energy. As we arrive, the city’s skyline and cobbled streets hint at the adventures that await over the coming days.

    We begin with a visit to Edinburgh Castle, the city’s most iconic landmark. Perched atop a volcanic rock, the castle offers sweeping views of the city below and a fascinating journey through Scotland’s history, from royal residences to ancient fortifications. We admire the impressive architecture, historic halls, and the legendary Crown Jewels, all while soaking in the dramatic scenery that surrounds the fortress.

    Next, we make our way to Holyrood Palace, the elegant royal residence at the end of the city’s historic thoroughfare. We take in the palace’s stately architecture and gardens, imagining centuries of royal life and Scottish history unfolding within its walls. The peaceful surroundings and refined beauty of the palace make it a perfect complement to the morning at Edinburgh Castle.

    In the afternoon, we head to Calton Hill, where panoramic vistas stretch across Edinburgh, the rolling hills beyond, and the sparkling waters of the Firth of Forth. This scenic viewpoint is perfect for photos, quiet reflection, or simply taking in the breathtaking landscape. We then head to our accommodation in Blairgowrie, with ample time to prepare for Shabbat.

    The Blairgowrie region offers natural beauty as well as giving you an authentic Scottish atmosphere. Spending Shabbat in our private accommodation, we enjoy wonderful davening, meals, Divrei Torah and a time to unwind.

    Shabbat afternoon gives us the chance to walk around the town and explore the region.

    We begin our day departing our accommodation heading to Cairngorms National Park.

    Known for its vast national park, dramatic peaks, and pristine natural beauty. Here, we enjoy scenic stops to admire the expansive mountain panoramas, crystal-clear rivers, and forested trails that make this area one of Scotland’s most spectacular outdoor regions. The sense of space and untouched nature creates a powerful contrast to the bustling cities we’ve visited earlier in the trip.

    Afterwards we head Pitlochry, a picture-perfect Highland town known for its riverside setting and historic stone bridges. Here we can wander through the charming streets, take in the sparkling waters of the River Tummel, and admire the surrounding mountains that rise dramatically in the distance, creating a truly enchanting atmosphere.

     

    Next, we journey to Queen’s View, a breathtaking lookout over Loch Tummel. From this elevated vantage point, the shimmering waters below are framed by layers of rugged hills, offering one of Scotland’s most iconic and awe-inspiring panoramas. It’s a perfect moment for photography, reflection, and simply soaking in the grandeur of the Highlands.

    Time depending, we will visit the Hermitage Forest near Dunkeld, a magical woodland trail where ancient Douglas firs soar overhead and waterfalls cascade into the River Braan. This serene walk allows us to breathe in the fresh Highland air, explore shaded paths, and experience the peaceful beauty of Scotland’s natural landscapes up close.

    We depart Blairgowrie early in the morning, heading North toward the heart of the Scottish Highlands for a day of iconic scenery.

    Our first stop is Glencoe, one of Scotland’s most breathtaking and evocative valleys. Here, jagged mountains rise sharply from the mist, waterfalls tumble into hidden lochs, and sweeping vistas stretch as far as the eye can see. The valley exudes a wild, almost mystical beauty, simultaneously serene and awe-inspiring. At certain viewpoints we take gentle walks to immerse ourselves in the raw majesty of the landscape and capture photographs of one of the most iconic and unforgettable corners of the Scottish Highlands.

    Then we head to the legendary Loch Ness, famous for its deep, dark waters and mysterious tales. We spend time along the loch’s shores, taking in the sweeping views and breathing in the fresh Highland air.

    A stop at Urquhart Castle allows us to admire its dramatic ruins perched above the water, offering spectacular photo opportunities and a glimpse into Scotland’s medieval history.

    We depart Inverness early in the morning, setting out on one of Scotland’s most scenic journeys as we travel west toward the legendary Isle of Skye. The drive itself is an unforgettable experience, passing through dramatic Highland landscapes, winding valleys, peaceful lochs, and remote mountain terrain. Along the way, we make scenic stops to stretch our legs, enjoy panoramic views, and capture photos of the ever-changing scenery.

    As we approach Skye, the landscape becomes even more dramatic, with jagged peaks, sweeping coastlines, and wide-open skies welcoming us to this magical island.

    Upon arrival, we begin discovering some of Skye’s most iconic natural wonders. Our first highlight is the Old Man of Storr, the island’s most famous rock formation, rising dramatically above the surrounding landscape. We take time to admire the towering pinnacle and enjoy sweeping views across the Sound of Raasay and the rugged coastline, soaking in the powerful atmosphere of this legendary landmark.

    We continue to the Fairy Pools, where crystal-clear blue waters cascade through a series of waterfalls and natural pools, framed by towering mountain backdrops. This breathtaking location offers both serenity and spectacular photo opportunities, making it one of the island’s most beloved sights. From here, we travel onward to the Quiraing, a dramatic landslip landscape filled with striking cliffs, unique rock formations, and sweeping views stretching across the island and out to the sea. Here, we take time to walk, explore, and fully absorb the wild, otherworldly beauty that makes Skye feel unlike anywhere else in Scotland.

    In the afternoon, we explore Portree, the island’s charming harbor town, known for its colorful waterfront buildings and lively atmosphere. We enjoy time strolling along the harbor, browsing local shops, and taking in views of the surrounding cliffs and boats lining the bay.

    As the day winds down, we make our way back to our accommodation for a gourmet dinner.

    We begin the day departing Inverness and head into the heart of the Highlands for a full day of adventure and whisky. We take a guided tour to discover the secrets of Highland whisky making, from malt to barrel, and finish with a tasting of their distinctive single malts. This is a hands-on introduction to Scotland’s most famous export and a chance to savor authentic Highland flavors.

    Next, we continue deeper into the Highlands, following scenic routes through rolling moors, river valleys, and rugged mountain landscapes. We pause at lesser-known natural gems, such as the Falls of Foyers, where a beautiful waterfall tumbles into Loch Ness, offering a quiet and dramatic setting for photos and short walks. This hidden spot gives a sense of the raw and untouched Highland wilderness.

    Afterwards, we continue to the Black Isle Peninsula, a hidden gem of the Highlands known for its peaceful coastal scenery, rolling farmland, and charming villages. We pause in a picturesque village to enjoy the serene surroundings, taking time to stroll along the shoreline and breathe in the fresh Highland air. The views of the Moray Firth stretching out to the horizon, with its sparkling waters and gentle waves, create a truly memorable setting. Quaint streets, traditional architecture, and the quiet rhythm of village life add to the charm, offering a perfect moment to soak in the beauty and tranquility of this unique corner of Scotland.

    We return to Inverness in the evening, taking a scenic drive through glens and hills, reflecting on a day filled with Highland landscapes, hidden gems, and iconic whisky experiences. The day concludes with dinner in Inverness, savoring the flavors and stories of the Highlands after an unforgettable day of exploration and tasting.

    We start our day early as we make our way back to Edinburgh.

    Our tour begins at Arthur’s Seat, the ancient volcanic hill rising above the city, where sweeping panoramic views stretch from the historic skyline to the sparkling waters of the Firth of Forth and the rolling hills beyond. The gentle paths invite us to take our time, pause for photographs, and fully absorb the stunning scenery.

    From there, we step into the mysterious world of Mary King’s Close, a hidden network of streets and alleyways preserved beneath the bustling city above. Wandering through these atmospheric passages, we encounter stories of merchants, artisans, and everyday city life from centuries past, bringing Edinburgh’s fascinating history vividly to life.

    We then take a leisurely walk along the Royal Mile, soaking in the vibrant energy of the city, its historic buildings, and charming courtyards.

    The street connects castle to palace and offers the perfect blend of history, culture, and lively city character, making it an unforgettable part of our Edinburgh experience.

     

    Afterward, we will make our way to the airport with appropriate time to check in for your international flight home.
