MODERN MIRACLES OF THE EAST

Our journey in South Korea begins on Monday night, upon our arrival at Incheon, where we spend the evening at a luxury hotel in Seoul before setting out early the next morning for Busan.
We begin our day with a transfer to Busan, South Korea’s dynamic coastal city renowned for its mountains, beaches, and vibrant energy.
Upon arrival in Busan, we take in the iconic Haeundae Beach, strolling along its famous stretch of sand while enjoying panoramic views of the ocean and city skyline. Next, we visit Dongbaekseom Island, a picturesque peninsula where dramatic cliffs meet serene walking paths, blending natural beauty with carefully landscaped gardens — the perfect introduction to Busan’s distinctive charm.

We start our day immersed in the vibrant, kaleidoscopic charm of Busan’s cultural heart. Gamcheon Culture Village, a hillside gem, captivates with its brightly painted houses, winding alleyways, and artistic murals, each corner revealing the creativity, spirit, and stories of this beloved community. Meandering through these colorful streets, we are treated to an unforgettable experience that blends local life, artistry, and breathtaking views.
Next, we visit BIFF Square, the pulsating heart of Busan’s film and entertainment district, where the city’s cinematic history comes alive amid lively street performances and vibrant energy. We then wander through Gukje Market, one of Korea’s largest traditional markets, immersing ourselves in a tapestry of colors, sounds, and flavors as we browse the bustling stalls and unique local shops.
Concluding the day, we ascend Yongdusan Park to Busan Tower, where sweeping panoramic views unveil the city’s striking blend of mountains, harbor, and urban elegance, leaving us truly captivated by Busan’s dynamic beauty.


Today, we immerse ourselves in the stunning coastal beauty that defines Busan. At Taejongdae Coastal Park, we follow dramatic cliffside paths as the invigorating sea breeze enhances the breathtaking interplay of mountains, ocean, and sky. This spectacular setting offers unforgettable viewpoints and exceptional photo opportunities along one of Korea’s most scenic coastlines.
We then step onto the Songdo Skywalk; a striking glass walkway suspended above the ocean. From this elevated perspective, we take in sweeping views of the rugged shoreline and the busy harbor below — a captivating fusion of natural grandeur and modern engineering.
Our journey continues to Busan Harbor, where a guided visit to the city’s renowned fish market draws us into the vibrant heart of Korea’s seafood trade. The market pulses with energy as vendors display an extraordinary variety of fresh catches, from glistening fish and shellfish to prized ocean delicacies. Here, we enjoy the unique opportunity to personally select premium sashimi or seafood directly from the stalls, guided by local experts who explain sourcing, quality, and preparation. The aromas, movement, and atmosphere create an unforgettable sensory experience and a true connection to Busan’s coastal culture.
In the evening, we transfer to the airport for our flight to Jeju Island, leaving Busan behind and preparing for the next chapter of our journey — the volcanic landscapes and natural beauty of South Korea’s island paradise.
We begin our day at Yongduam (Dragon Head Rock), a striking volcanic formation rising boldly from the ocean. The jagged silhouette against the crashing waves immediately captivates us, offering a dramatic introduction to Jeju’s untamed natural beauty.
We then wander along Yongyeon Pond, crossing its elegant bridge and pausing to take in the calm, emerald waters framed by lush greenery. It’s a serene moment to breathe, reflect, and fully embrace the island’s peaceful charm.
Our journey continues along the Jeju Coastal Road, where sweeping vistas of turquoise waters, rugged cliffs, and hidden coves unfold at every turn. Each stop presents a perfect opportunity for photographs and to marvel at nature’s artistry.
We conclude with the awe-inspiring Jeongbang Waterfall, where water plunges directly into the sea in a powerful yet mesmerizing display. As we take in the spectacular scenery, we feel the perfect balance of energy and tranquility, setting the tone for a peaceful and reflective Shabbat evening.
On Shabbat, we will enjoy a tranquil day at our luxury hotel on Jeju Island, immersed in its serene natural beauty. The day unfolds in quiet elegance, offering time to wander nearby paths and gardens, admire sweeping ocean views, and take in the lush volcanic landscape. Moments are filled with gentle reflection—whether watching the waves, discovering a secluded lookout, or simply breathing in the fresh island air—creating a serene interlude of beauty, stillness, and renewal.


We set out to discover East Jeju, a region of dramatic landscapes and unforgettable beauty. Our first stop is Seongsan Ilchulbong (Sunrise Peak), Jeju’s iconic volcanic crater and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Rising majestically from the ocean, its striking silhouette and sweeping views of the surrounding coast promise awe-inspiring photo opportunities and moments of pure wonder.
We then enjoy leisurely time in the nearby village, strolling through charming streets, taking in the local atmosphere, and experiencing the serene rhythm of island life.
Next, we wander along the Seopjikoji Coast, where rugged cliffs meet sparkling waters and wind-swept vistas create a truly cinematic setting. Every step offers breathtaking perspectives and opportunities to soak in the natural grandeur of Jeju. This day is a perfect blend of adventure, natural splendor, and tranquil exploration — a true taste of Jeju’s captivating charm.

This morning, we depart Jeju Island and take a short flight back to Seoul. Upon arrival, we return to the vibrant capital, a city where centuries of history coexist seamlessly with cutting-edge modernity. Here, the streets hum with energy, from bustling markets and contemporary skyscrapers to serene traditional neighborhoods and cultural landmarks. As we reconnect with Seoul, we have the opportunity to immerse ourselves in its unique blend of innovation and heritage, enjoying the sights, sounds, and flavors that make this city truly unforgettable.
Our first stop is Gyeongbokgung Palace, Seoul’s grandest royal palace, to witness the changing of the guard ceremony — a vivid display of traditional uniforms, music, and choreography that brings Korea’s dynastic past to life.
Next, we wander through Bukchon Hanok Village, a beautifully preserved neighborhood of traditional Korean houses tucked into the heart of the modern city. We continue to Insadong, Seoul’s vibrant cultural heart, where art galleries, antique shops, and charming tea houses invite us to slow down and immerse ourselves in the creativity and craftsmanship that have shaped Korean culture for centuries.

Today, we venture into the extraordinary and historically profound Demilitarized Zone (DMZ), a place where history, tension, and hope converge on the Korean Peninsula.
Our journey begins at Imjingak Park, a moving site of remembrance and reflection. Surrounded by monuments and symbolic structures, we gain a powerful understanding of Korea’s complex history and the enduring dream of reunification.
Next, we descend into the 3rd Infiltration Tunnel, a remarkable feat of engineering revealing the dramatic tensions of the past. From the Dora Observatory, we enjoy sweeping, unforgettable views across the border into North Korea. Our final stop is Unification Village, where the resilient communities living at the edge of history offer a rare and personal glimpse into life in this uniquely compelling region.
In the afternoon, we take in the breathtaking vistas from the Gamaksan Suspension Bridge. Stretching across lush valleys and rolling hills, the bridge offers stunning panoramic views where nature and engineering meet in perfect harmony, creating a picture-perfect contrast to the region’s historical depth.
As evening falls, we indulge in a private Korean tea experience, guided by a local expert who reveals the artistry and tradition behind each delicate sip. This morning, we leave the bustling city behind and drive to Seoraksan National Park, a jewel of South Korea’s natural beauty. Towering granite peaks, lush forests, and crystal-clear streams surround us, creating a landscape of breathtaking serenity and dramatic grandeur.
Once inside the park, we follow scenic, well-maintained trails that wind past sparkling waterfalls, striking rock formations, and vibrant seasonal flora. Every step offers a chance to breathe in the fresh mountain air, capture unforgettable photographs, and experience the tranquil majesty that has made Seoraksan one of Korea’s most iconic and celebrated landscapes.
Next, we ascend by cable car to Gwongeumseong Fortress, where sweeping panoramic views of jagged peaks, verdant valleys, and distant horizons unfold in every direction. From this elevated vantage point, the dramatic grandeur of Seoraksan comes alive, offering unforgettable vistas that will linger in memory long after the day ends.
In the afternoon, we follow scenic paths to Biryong Falls and other stunning viewpoints, surrounded by the harmonious interplay of mountains, forests, and cascading waters. As we soak in the park’s natural majesty, every moment feels like a private encounter with Korea’s most extraordinary landscapes, before we return to Seoul in the late afternoon, inspired and rejuvenated by the breathtaking beauty we have witnessed.

Today, we dive into the beating heart of Seoul — a city that rose from post-war hardship to become one of the world’s most dynamic capitals.
Our morning begins at Gwangjang Market, where the energy is electric and the atmosphere alive with movement, aromas, and tradition. Walking through its bustling lanes feels like stepping into the rhythm of everyday Korean life, offering an authentic and unforgettable cultural encounter.
From tradition to the future, we continue to the Dongdaemun Design Plaza, one of Asia’s most striking architectural landmarks. Its bold curves and visionary design showcase Seoul’s reputation as a global leader in creativity and innovation. This is where art, technology, and urban culture collide, offering a powerful visual symbol of the nation’s transformation.
Next, we take part in a hands-on cultural experience at a local artisan studio. Whether learning the elegance of calligraphy, shaping pottery, or crafting traditional Hanji paper, this immersive workshop allows us to connect directly with Korea’s artistic heritage — not as spectators, but as participants.
Our afternoon reaches new heights at the Lotte World Tower Sky Observatory. Rising above the city, we take in breathtaking panoramic views stretching across rivers, mountains, and Seoul’s endless skyline. From this extraordinary vantage point, the scale, beauty, and ambition of the city come into full view — a moment that leaves a lasting impression.
As the journey comes to an end, we make our way to Incheon International Airport for our departure flights home, carrying with us memories of the vibrant coastal city of Busan, the breathtaking landscapes of Jeju Island, and the dynamic energy of Seoul. In Seoul and Incheon, mid-October to mid-November marks one of the most beautiful times of year. Autumn is crisp and clear, with daytime highs generally ranging from 15–22°C (59–72°F) in October, cooling to around 10–17°C (50–63°F) by mid-November. Mornings and evenings can feel distinctly chilly, especially later in the season, with temperatures occasionally dropping to 5–8°C (41–46°F). Rainfall is low, and skies are often bright, making it ideal for sightseeing and autumn foliage.

In Busan, the climate is slightly milder thanks to its coastal setting. Daytime temperatures typically sit between 18–23°C (64–73°F) in October, easing to around 13–19°C (55–66°F) in November. Evenings are cool but comfortable, and rainfall is generally minimal. The sea breeze can add a light chill, particularly after sunset.

On Jeju Island, autumn is pleasantly mild and atmospheric. Expect daytime highs of around 17–22°C (63–72°F) in October, cooling to 12–18°C (54–64°F) in November. Nights can be cool, especially later in the season. Jeju may experience slightly more wind and occasional light rain compared to the mainland, but conditions are still excellent for outdoor exploration.
