After a delicious breakfast, we leave the bustling energy of Saigon for a scenic drive through the picturesque countryside to Ben Tre Province.
We meander along the tranquil waterways of the Ben Tre River, surrounded by enchanting scenery of lush fruit orchards and swaying coconut groves. Along the way, we have the chance to taste fresh tropical fruits cultivated by local farmers and visit a charming village, gaining insight into the rhythms of daily life in this vibrant region.
Our exploration continues with a choice of experiences that immerse us fully in the landscape. We can hop on a motorized rickshaw or bicycle to wind through charming villages, verdant rice fields, and expansive plains, feeling the pulse of rural life as we traverse this captivating countryside. A speedboat on the Mekong Delta is another option for an additional cost.
As the day draws to a close, we return to Ho Chi Minh City for dinner.

Today we head to the incredible Cu Chi Tunnels, a remarkable network that reveals the ingenuity and resilience of Vietnam’s wartime history. For an added touch of adventure, we have the option to travel in style along the Saigon Riverbanks in a VIP vehicle or speedboat, taking in the lush landscapes as we approach the site.
At the tunnels, we explore the fascinating underground passages carved through the jungle, gaining a unique and hands-on understanding of life during the conflict. The experience is both thrilling and humbling, offering insight into the courage and resourcefulness of those who lived and fought here.
After our adventurous afternoon, we transfer to the airport for our flight to Da Nang. On arrival, we continue to the charming city of Hoi An and check into our hotel. Be ready to explore this area of enchanting streets, vibrant culture and magical riverfront evenings.

After breakfast we head out to experience Hoi An’s famous basket boats. These traditional round bamboo boats, originally designed by local fishermen, offer a fun and unique way to explore the serene coconut waterways. Skilled boatmen demonstrate the exciting spinning technique, creating a thrilling yet safe adventure while showcasing their remarkable boat-handling skills.
We then visit a local vegetable garden where we gain insight into traditional Vietnamese farming methods and everyday rural life.
We return to our accommodation with ample time to prepare for Shabbat.
Shabbat day offers you the chance to get a sense of the city with a walk around adventure discovering its charm and hidden corners.
After Havdallah, we head to the ancient port town of Hoi An, where the evening comes alive with vibrant energy. Boarding boats, we drift along the Hoi An River passing bridges, and witnessing the magical lighting of lanterns, floating along the sparkling waters.
We explore the lively streets, enjoy shopping and the night-time atmosphere before returning to our accommodation for a Melava Malka.

Today we journey to the breathtaking mountain wonderland of Ba Na Hills, home to the iconic Golden Bridge, held aloft by its famous giant stone hands- a spectacular feat of engineering that seems to float among the clouds.
Prepare to be mesmerized as you ascend on a world-renowned cable car, gliding over lush forests and dramatic peaks which is a ride celebrated as one of the top 10 most impressive cable car experiences on the planet. Every turn reveals a new panorama, making this an unforgettable start to your day.
We then transfer to Da Nang airport for our flight to Haiphong and continue to Halong Bay, a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site considered one of the 7 wonders of the world.
Over the next two days, we immerse ourselves in the breathtaking of Halong Bay. We spend our days exploring the emerald water with its towering karst limestone islands rising from the sea.
Our ventures include caves adorned with rock formations, kayaking past hidden coves and secret beaches, climbing to panoramic viewpoints that give you a sense of why this region is part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We also visit a traditional floating village and discover their unique way of life.
For those early rises, at dawn, witness mist rise over the limestone peaks as you watch seabirds on the water, creating an atmosphere of nature and wonder. Each day as the sun sets, we unwind, enjoying gourmet dining and fine wine.

This morning, we depart early on a magnificent drive of unfolding scenic beauty for our trip to Hanoi.
Our city highlights tour in Hanoi will soak in the captivating atmosphere of this ancient city steeped in culture and tradition as we take you to the city’s most famous sites.
We witness the ceremonial changing of the guards at the Presidential Palace and explore, visit Hanoi’s famous Tran Street, a truly close-for-comfort experience, where we feel the thrill as the train passes just inches away, creating one of the city’s most iconic and unforgettable sights.
Our journey continues as we head north to the luscious mountains where we will make an overnight stop in Vinh Yen.

This morning, we embark on a scenic drive through the mountains to our last destination, Sapa.
Along the way, breathtaking views of terraced hills, lush valleys, and winding roads, reveal the region’s natural beauty.
Arriving at our accommodation perched high in the mountains of Sapa, a gourmet lunch is served to fuel our energy, as we set out on more exploring adventures.
The charming Cat Cat Village, a traditional Hmong community, nestled in the mountains, is our first taste of Sapa. We wander along stone paths past wooden houses, cascading waterfalls and terraced fields, experiencing the daily life, crafts and culture of the local people. The village offers a perfect blend of authenticity – allowing us to feel the sense of the days to come in this place.

Nicknamed, "the Roof of Indochina", Fansipan Mountain, standing at a height of 3,147.3 meters, is the highest mountain in Vietnam and in Indochina.
Offering breathtaking views of the surrounding valleys, verdant forests, and traditional hill villages, it promises an unforgettable experience that will leave you complete awe.
Ascending to the peak via the Fansipan Cable Car, a journey that takes about 15 minutes each way, we are surrounded by lush green valleys, mountains, and misty forests stretching as far as the eye can see. At the summit, we step out to take in panoramic vistas that are nothing short of awe-inspiring, feeling the exhilaration of standing atop the Roof of Indochina.
Here is where we pause, capture pictures, breathe in the crisp air, and soak in the serene beauty of this extraordinary destination, creating memories for life.
We make our way back to our accommodation and begin preparing for Shabbat.
Friday night, in our pop-up shul, we come together for Kabbalat Shabbat, followed by Shabbat dinner.
Shabbat day begins with Davening and a Kiddush, followed by lunch. In the afternoon, we take a walk through the surrounding hills and villages – an experience well spent over our usual afternoon shlof.
As Havdallah is over, we gather for a Melava Malkah, sharing stories and reflecting on our unforgettable experiences in Vietnam.

Today we experience up-close the rice terraces and visit small villages on the way, as we trek by foot through the scenery that we have been viewing from above over the past few days.
Participation in the trek and the route will be determined based upon the level of fitness of participants.
Those who wish to take a shorter route or decide to stay at the hotel, can enjoy a more relaxing day taking advantage of the hotel’s facilities.
We sit at our last gourmet dinner, around a table of friends, who close to two weeks ago were strangers.

Today we begin exploring the town of Sapa and enjoy some time for shopping.
We then make our return journey to Hanoi airport, enjoying the incredible scenic drive and last taste of nature’s beautiful footprints.
