 Itinerary

  • daintree.jpg

After landing early in the morning or the night before in Cairns, our tour begins here in tropical North-Queensland, gateway to two world-class wonders of nature: The Great Barrier Reef, and the Daintree Rainforests.

Today, we explore the magnificent Daintree Rainforests, one of the largest rainforests systems on Earth. Driving up the mountains through incredible scenery to the rainforest village of Kuranda, explore the village and its numerous attractions and take the incredible sky rail down, over the river-gorge and rainforests, back to the coast. We also visit a crocodile refuge, getting to know one of Australia’s most famous wildlife species.

Afterwards we drive to Port Douglas, a town on the Coral Sea that boasts magnificent beaches and our luxurious accommodation. Settle in after a full day and be seated to a dinner that will set the stage for the upcoming days.

  • port douglas.jpg

After a good nights sleep, wake up to the fresh smell of ocean and views of Port Douglas. After your delightful breakfast you will have the opportunity to take advantage of the tranquility of your surroundings to relax and experience the resorts facilities.

Those wanting to get out can explore this town offering and get shopping done.

For adventure-seekers, take a drive to Cairns where the day offers endless optional possibilities. Feel the rush of skydiving, bungy jumping, or jungle swinging for an unforgettable adrenaline boost. For a breathtaking and serene experience, soar over the region on a hot air balloon ride and take in stunning views of the tropical landscapes (at an additional cost).

Whether you choose to embrace the thrill or enjoy some downtime, your final day in this area of Australia is a chance to create lasting memories in this vibrant tropical paradise.

  • Reef.jpg

Today experience up close one of the Seven Wonders of the natural world, the largest coral reef on the planet, which stretches 1000 miles from one side to the other!

We depart Port Douglas by boat (private charters available for extra fee), cruising through crystal-clear waters to the fixed pontoons in the heart of the reef, from where we have a chance to snorkel, and for those able to go diving. If you prefer to remain dry, the pontoons have underwater observatories from which the incredible life of the reef can be observed. A relaxed cruise takes us back to our hotel, for a well-deserved dinner.

  • day1_sydney.jpg

After breakfast, we depart for the airport to catch our flight to Sydney, the city with a whopping 5.312 million inhabitants, which is in fact not the capital of Australia as many people believe.

An unforgettable Shabbat awaits in the famous Bondi-Beach neighborhood, both the center of the Jewish community and one of the most popular tourist spots of Sydney.

    day2-23_sydney.jpg

On Shabbat afternoon, the walking enthusiasts can enjoy part of the spectacular coastal walk from Bondi to Coogee.

  • Sydney.jpg

After a relaxing and vibrant Shabbos, this morning after breakfast we venture out to enjoy the sights and sounds of Sydney, including Hyde Park, the famous Opera House, the Botanical Gardens, the Rocks, an incredible boat excursion in the harbor, and of course, some free time for shopping.

  • Ayers Rock.jpeg

This morning, we rise early and take a 3-hour flight to one of the most important and old tourist destinations in Australia, Uluru, or Ayers Rock.

On our arrival, we will be taken to the Uluru-Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre, a great place to start your exploration of Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. At the center you’ll find an introduction to Anangu culture.

The Anangu people are Uluru’s traditional custodians and have lived in the area for over a thousand years. At the center you can purchase Anangu art, watch craft demonstrations, or join a bush tucker session.

    Mala walk.jpg

This will be the starting point to the Mala Walk, where a park ranger will take us along the base of the rock, stopping to tell the story of the Mala (rufous hare-wallaby) people. We will learn more about traditional Aṉangu culture, rock art and how the park is managed.

  • camel ride.jpg

This morning, after a hearty breakfast at our resort, we are taken to a camel farm near our resort. We’ll explore the camel museum and saddlery. It is home to over 50 friendly working camels who visitors fall in love with! Guests leave with lifelong memories of Uluru and the Outback.

If you are looking for the ultimate way to experience this beautiful desert region, you have to get on one of the camels. You’ll see the desert scenery atop a camel for a unique perspective. Just climb aboard for a quiet, leisurely walk and view the surrounding area from 6 feet up.

We will explore the large red sand dunes in the cool, clear morning and watch the sun rise over Uluru. Your guides will point out the desert flora and fauna along the trail.

  • kata tjuta.jpg

After an early breakfast, and all packed up, we drive nearby to Kata Tjuta (the Olgas), meaning many heads, a series of enormous rock domes. We start our morning early with a drive to the Kata Tjuta dune viewing area. Only a short walk from the carpark we’ll find magnificent panoramic views of the domes and a relaxing place to sit and absorb the ever-changing colors of the landscape.

We will continue on the road to Kata Tjuta and find out just how ancient and imposing the domes are by tackling the Walpa Gorge Walk, which is an easy walk and follows a stream to a grove of flourishing spearwood.

In the afternoon, we say goodbye to this astonishing scenery and take a direct flight to Melbourne, Australia’s second most famous city. We will be welcomed at the airport by one of our representatives and head to our hotel. We will have some spare time to relax at the hotel facilities until dinner is served.

  • day6_melbourne.jpg

On our much-awaited arrival in Melbourne on Wednesday, we are met at the airport and taken for a walking tour of this colorful and dynamic city, where we explore the modern city center, the Yarra Riverfront with its eclectic bars and coffee shops, and some of its contrasting quaint side alleys.

    day6_pic2_melbourne.jpg

Depending on your return flight, we could visit other sites during Thursday such as the Jewish area of Caulfield and others.

    melbourne.jpg

We will transfer you to the airport in time for your international flights home, rich with incredible memories of our time down-under.

We offer the option to extend your journey by staying with us for Shabbos, giving you the opportunity to immerse yourself in the serenity and charm of this beautiful city just a little longer.
